After recent attacks by Chinese hackers, apparently seeking information on Chinese human rights activists, Google announced their new approach to China in a post on their official blog. Although Google did not explicitly accuse the Chinese government of the breach, it said it was no longer willing to censor search results on google.cn. I don't read Chinese very well but it seems that their new aproach is in effect.

Using a free online translation tool "据当地法律法规和政策,部分搜索结果未予显示" turned out to mean something like "According to the local legislation laws, regulations and the policy, part of the search results are not shown".
